COEB, short for Chinese Overseas Education in Belgium, is the name of my doctoral project on the transnational history of Chinese-Belgian educational exchanges (1900-1950), which I undertake in the period from 2026 to 2029 with the FRESH scholarship (FNRS).
The name also refers to the database that supports the research by keeping track of the Chinese students and other actors tied to the history.
The COEB research blog is a (temporary) place for sharing my reflections on the research process and news on the development of the database.
